Buddha Board
Buddha Board
Chinese calligraphy, the almost magical art of writing and painting with water, has a long tradition. The special surface of the Buddha Board enables one to draw with pure water. These works of art however, are not meant to last forever, as the water continually evaporates. Painting on the Buddha Board is almost a meditative preoccupation, adding something new to the drawing as soon as a part fades away. 3 pieces Dimensions (cm) 30 x 24
Buddha Board Reviews:
this was great. my friend had one and her little 2 year old was playing with it and i thought it was a great idea for my little one. i know they have one for kids made by crayola but i liked playing with it too. its fun for the whole family. you paint, it drys and then you start all over.
Bought one previously for my grandsons and paid [...]. This one is much nicer and I paid much less for it, even with shipping. Love this toy. It is nice to take along to entertain kids at a restaurant or waiting room.
You might like this for meditation. Put something you want to learn or remember onto the board and stand in front of it, watching while it fades. (Chi Kung standing postures are nice). I takes about fifteen minutes. As it goes away the image is “burned” into your memory. Of course, the more refined the image, the more refined the memory. Simple words like “peace” are good. Learn to write them in Hebrew, Arabic, Korean, or any other language you like. The meaning is the same. By the way, you can also use different size brushes besides the one it comes with. Enjoy.
