After all these years, it’s still hard to get a triple word score, the tiles are still made of wood, and there’s only one “X” in the whole box. The game of Scrabble has sparked feuds and a near-cult following. All the fuss is over a spelling game that hasn’t had an upgrade in 50 years. It takes a little luck and a lot of skill to make high-scoring words out of seven little letters, sometimes with an overabundance of vowels and letters that don’t go together–some (more…)

Pretend and Play School Set Reviews:

My daughter love her pretend school play set. It is very educational, has a lot of the same stuff as her teacher has in class. The maps are awesome, as her uncle is traveling right now and we put stickys on the states he has visited so far! She loves the calendar part also, as we do the calendar and weather every day. She also updates it when she comes home if we forgot anything!
This was a Christmas gift to our 4 yr old daughter. She plays school every day, which usually consists of pretend reading to her stuffed animals. I loved this toy because it was so simple – no batteries or assembly – just a basic, good toy. She has played with it every day and has not grown tired of it yet. I would really recommend this for any ‘play school’ child. My only complaint would be the black dry erase marker leaves stains on the dry erase board. The marker could have been left on for a while or just a default in the product, although I haven’t tried much to fix it yet and our daughter doesn’t even notice.
I brouhgt this for my granddaughter who loves to play school. When she opened it she loved the pointer because her teacher has one just like it. She is in kindergarten and I know she will learn from this Pretend and Play School set because of the calendar, etc. I would recommend it to young children wanting to play school.

The Maverick blaster features a six-dart rotating barrel with easy flip loading so you don’t have to waste any time while blasting enemy targets. Rapid launching action increases your battle speed and accuracy. Other features include a pullback mechanism and auto-advancing barrel.
The Maverick is a part of the N-Strike team, so you can snap it onto the Unity Power System (sold separately) and ratchet the NERF action up another notch. This incredibly cool Maverick blaster has a six-dart barrel with flip-open action for easy loading that puts you right back in the game. Blaster comes with six darts and instructions.
Like the gun toted by the cowboy hero with whom it shares its name, the Maverick is a six shooter. Unlike the gun that other Maverick had, however, this weapon shoots only soft suction darts that can fly across a room and adhere to a window or other glass surface. The Maverick features a rotating barrel, which makes it easier to keep the firepower flying in the midst of heated battle and a futuristic look to better engender sci-fi fantasy play if you so choose. For a little extra power boost, the gun also has a pump mechanism. In our informal test, the darts flew surprisingly far and impressively straight.

Hasbro Nerf N-Strike Maverick – Colors May Vary Reviews:

Great toy for beginners that like nerf guns. It is a very durable gun and long lasting. I had this for 4 months now and it still works great. Not very accurate though and fast, but it’s a toy gun overall. But if you want to buy this gun, i would recommend buying some more darts. Six darts that come free with the gun won’t last that long. I have lost 1 already.
I think this toy has held up pretty well! I’ve had it for about 1 1/2 years and it still works! It’s pretty straightforward, worth your money!, and you don’t have to have batteries or electronics! It can hold up to 6 ammo which is enough for a good game, and you just reload. It doesn’t break or fall apart since it seems to be pretty sturdy and a harder plastic than the bigger ones. The bigger, the more pieces, and it’s a great toy! NOT AIR just spring, so everything stays in place. I took it apart, and easily put it back together unlike the recon which I had to throw away. Well I’d say IT’S WORTH YOUR MONEY!!!
this gun is handy in nerf wars because it was light, good amount of capacity, and okay range. But you have to use two hands for it but still good gun.

Math Whiz Reviews:

I purchased a Math Whiz over 5 years ago to help 3rd graders with their multiplication tables. It was so successful, I looked for more and was not able to locate any. The stores and Kmart (where I purchased it for $8.00) did not carry or were not going to order any more after the Christmas Holiday. My old and relible Math Whiz is still working perfectly after many, many fingers pushed at the buttons. I am so glad I found it once again on line so I could get a couple as a donation to our local school. The students love it.
My 9 y/o daughter thinks it is a fun and educational toy.
She recommends this to anyone who loves math or needs to work on math.
She loves math and it has lots of fun problem solving challenges.

Melissa & Doug Deluxe Pound and Roll Tower Reviews:

I got this for my daughter when she was about 16-months-old and she quickly figured out how to pound and roll the balls. All of the kids love banging on this toy; however the wood does dent easily w/medium use of the hammer. Other than that this is a great toy for kids!
Our daughter started playing with this around eight months. She figured out how to place the balls in the side slots, since she wasn’t yet strong enough to push or hammer them through the top. She’s now 11 months, and can sometimes push then through the top. But she still loves putting them through the side slots, and trying to work out where they will come out. She plays with this toy daily and really enjoys it.
My son has gotten many hours of fun out of this toy. He started playing with it at 9 months and quickly learned to place the balls in the tower from the side, since he wasnt strong enough to push them through the top.
He still plays with it daily 6 months later.

Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn Storybook Rhymes Reviews:

My baby loves this toy and plays with it again and again. He likes to press the button (nose of the worm) and see the light flash, thus the song continues to play. When the book fell to the floor, it can automatically stand.
My Grandson spends hours with interactive books. This one is no different and hold his interest for 10 or 15 minutes.
We bought this for our 1 year old. He loves flipping the pages of books and playing pat-a-cake, so I thought this would be perfect. It is just what I thought. He really enjoys it and the songs are not annoying!
