Out of all the fancy toys they got for Christmas, this is the one the 7 and 4 year old are playing with the most. One warning, it can get pretty loud and after more than 10 minutes it starts to get irritating, but then I just send them to a different room to play. I didn’t think something so simple would be so entertaining for them! It is definitely a keeper!
We bought it to use with the UCreate Music station, but haven’t tried that yet. It’s just fun all by itself.
I bought this toy for my much younger brother and as soon as he opened it, the entire family was passing it around. From the grandparents down to the toddlers, it was played with by all. It can get a little annoying at times because of how loud it can be but in small doses,it is a ton of fun!

We like the set a lot. We purchased it for our 9month old who took to it immediately. We still havent given her the triangle and the symbol, I think we will wait until she is a bit older. We gave her all the other musical instruments and she loves them. She love the shakers, clacker and the tambrine. I love that the shakers are quite so it is not annoying to listen to my 1 year old shake them next to my head for fund. All the toys are loud enough that she enjoys them yet quite enough that I allow her to play with them.
We like it alot– we have used them daily for months now and all seems working (knock on wood).
Would recommend to other parents. I would buy this toy for any child over 9months (just pick which instruments are appropriate for what age, depending on your child). If i was to do this over again, i would introduce one instrument per month or so.
We received this as a gift for our 3 year old and 15 month old and they absolutely love playing with it. They make all kinds of “music” and march around and play. I would highly recommend this product for anyone with kids. The only problem we’ve had with it is the tambourine was used as a drum with the stick from the gyro by our daughter and broke within 15 minutes. I’m sure it wasn’t intended to be used that way, but I thought, being made for little kids, it would be more durable than that. I will tape it and it’ll work just fine.

Wall-E is one of the most versatile games I have encountered for the Leapster so far. The difficulty levels vary to the extent that my 2 year old can play several of the games without frustration, while my almost 5 year old can play and still be challenged. The game play choices are unique and interesting and do not quickly get repetitive as we have experienced with some other games. One of the games even lets you create your own custom design, so the possibilities are endless! This is one of the few games that is great for boys and girls, both from the younger and older age groups.
My son was 4 when we got this game and almost a year later he still plays it. It is probably my favorite leapster game because of the content. My son has learned a lot about the environment, what is recyclable, and why we need to recycle. My daughter just turned 3 and she can’t figure out how to play yet but it has lasted this long and I am sure we will still have it when she is ready.

This clock is exactly what we needed to teach our two-year-old twins an appropriate time to wake up. We’re able to help them sleep in longer in the mornings and stay quiet if they wake up before “the clock turns green,” as we taught them. We also use the “OK to Wake” setting for naps, so if they wake up too soon after going down, they know to put themselves back to sleep. They have been less grumpy and more rested since we started using this clock. It was easy to teach and can be adapted when they are able to distinguish numbers on the clock face. This is perfect for our family!
Wow! Who would have thought we would be able to sleep until 7:00. This clock is perfect for our 2 and half year old. This is a great “visual” for our son. He knows he could get up when he sees the green light. It isn’t a night light so it’s dark until the timer goes off. We finally have the mornings to ourselves. We highly recommend it!
My 2 yr old kept getting up earlier and earlier and waking us up. She wanted to know if it was time to get up yet. We tried teaching her to look for the number 7 to wake at 7am but she just wasnt getting the connection. This clock works GREAT! The first day we showed her to look for the green glow and from then on it was no problem. Now she just plays in her room until it turns green! More sleep for us!!!! I only wish it had a plug in option but the batteries seem to be lasting and I love that the glow turns itself off all on its own.

Having recently reviewed this for my blog I thought I would offer a summary for Amazon: If you enjoy the game Monopoly and are a Star Trek fan you can’t go wrong here. The design of the game is quite well balanced between all the series and films, so fans of every part of the Star Trek universe should find something they enjoy.
Each of the properties becomes a planet, the train stations a starship and the counters either a Vulcan lute, TOS shuttlecraft, TOS movie-era hand phaser, TOS communicator, Kirk’s command chair or a blood wine goblet (perhaps the least balanced element of the game with all that TOSness)
The elements customised from your standard Monopoly to make them Star Treky are nicely done, with latinum used as the currency and the chance and community chest cards replaced with “subspace transmissions” and “sensor readings” giving you fines for the likes of being cured of the Klingon augment virus and repair bills after Borg attacks!
Additionally the game comes with a great suggestion for additional Star Trek rules when you role doubles, allowing plays to travel through time or attempt to assimilate another player’s property.
Any Star Trek fan should love this.

My 3 yr old daughter absolutely loves this DVD. She was particularly resistant to learning her letters when I attempted to teach her, but in a few weeks of viewing the Leap Frog Letter Factory (3 or 4 times a week) she can now recognize her upper case letters and knows their corresponding sounds. She constantly sings the catchy song used in the DVD to teach the sound each letter makes. I only rated the DVD 4 stars, since I thought that the lower case letters should have been included as well. By the way, my 6 yr old asks to watch the DVD as well (even though she already reads above her grade level). So definitely two thumbs up.
Outstanding DVD for our 3 and 1/2 year old. He learned his letters even more and goes around the house sounding out each letter… all because of this video! Highly recommended; we’ll be buying more leap frog dvd’s soon.

Im a Star Trek nut, so when i received this in the mail i felt like the cast of next gen had shown up at my door to exchange technobabble. This version covers all the shows and even the movies. I played it with 2 people that knew a bit about the trek and one person that knew nothing. I myself had a blast of course, but everyone else wanted to quit, where have all the trekkies gone? You have to really enjoy the Star Trek universe to enjoy this game. Most of the questions were entertaining and were not too difficult to answer, but occasionally we would get one that only the writers of the show could answer, like “What was the middle name of the ambassador that visited Picard on episode # whatever”. There is a board and metallic ship pieces that are included, the instructions are easy to follow. Some of the trivia includes video clips from any of the shows or movies and some trivia will have you name whats missing from a picture. Overall i had a blast playing it because im a trekkie, but everyone else will probably not be lining up to play.
Ok, first off, I’ve been waiting for this game forever! It’s a ton of fun, from the questions to the dvd play. Seems like there are lots of original series questions, but that might just be because I always get them wrong! Our 11 year old son absolutely loves the dvd questions more than the trivia cards. It’s a load of fun for everyone from kids to adults. Not much else to say except it’s an awesome game!
