We purchased this product because our two year old was constantly scattering his books everywhere. It is a perfect height, was easy to assemble and although he still hasn’t gotten the ‘take it out put it away’ concept, he can see all of the books and grab the one he wants to look at with ease.
This bookshelf is great. Our son is 3 and can use it easliy. The shelving in a soft canvas and it holds a good 30 books and magazines. I only wish we would have purchased a larger size. Fits well in his room. I would recommend this for any childs room.
This slim sling book shelf is really growing on me! I needed a place to put my two toddler’s growing book collection, but I’ve discovered it is a great place to stash their cardboard puzzles. I put the pieces in a Ziploc bag and all the boards fit neatly. I have approximately 30 books and about 12 puzzles in this sling! Very pleased…Sturdy and attractive. It was a little fussy to put together, but I wasn’t ripping my hair out.

I just presented three of these shopping carts to my 3 year old triplet boys at Christmas (3 of them, ouch, not cheap!) and BIG HIT!!! One of my boys hardly plays with toys but he loves this. It’s been non-stop rolling around ever since from all 3. The only thing we have to watch out for is excessive speed, collision, and (intentional) cart toppling (which is why I love the break feature on the carts so that they don’t get the bright idea to climb inside for a wild ride). The carts are really quite adorable, perfect small size, seemingly indestructible, well-replicated grocery store cart style (holds baby and food!), but with a soft thick quality, so no cold hard metal feelings. I do not believe one could do better for a toy shopping cart in terms of quality, fun, and attractiveness (who needs more plastic-cheapo clutter in their home?) and I think the higher price tag was worth it.
When our grand daughter opened the shopping cart on Christmas, the other 7 grandchildren all wanted to play with it. We had to set up a “schedule of turns” for the cart. It is made of the same metal as a genuine in-the-store carts, and has good quality, heavy duty wheels. I am sure this item will be around for generations to come. I highly recommend it for children 2 to at least 6 years old.
This is an adorable toy!! It is so very realistic and of way better quality than other toy grocery carts we looked at for our daughter (2) and son (4). We got this with some toy food and a cash register for Christmas and they LOVE it! Even though its quite a but more expensive than some of the plastic ones it is well worth the extra cash, since it will last forever!! Highly recommended for kids who like to pretend…and their parents!

The thing I like most about this product is the book holder pockets at the top, and is what sets it apart from other organizers of this type. It’s so easy to assemble and big enough to hold a lot of toys and books. The construction is very sturdy too. Best boy organizer I ever seen.
This organizer is sturdy and will serve its purpose well–I love that it combines the book rack and the toy bins. However, I am pretty disappointed in the quality for the price. The edges of the laminate are not finished–it is as though they laminated a huge board and cut out the shape they needed to make this organizer and just sanded the edges, so the particle board is exposed. Also, the pockets are too deep for childrens books, so I am going to have to take the rack apart and sew the pockets so that they are shallower.

My daughter loves storytime. So, now that she can see her books at eye level, its storytime…everytime.
This is a great way to encourage not only reading, but also the care of storybooks as she now puts them back in the shelves rather than dropping them on the floor.
I already bought the Noah’s Ark design for this type of display; we keep it in the living room (I reviewed that display in more detail). We purchased this one for our son’s bedroom.
I wish the canvas came in more colors than just red, but the natural wood is beautiful. It was very easy to put together – only took a couple of minutes. It’s sturdy, but light-weight. It holds all sizes of books, and can hold anywhere from 12 to 36 books depending on their size and shape.
The 1st Guidecraft book display help us teach our son to respect his books. He took such good care of them (like putting them back in the display instead of throwing them on the floor), that we have been able to introduce paperbooks to our 18 month-old, and he doesn’t try to tear them apart.
I think this type of book display is more practical for children’s books than a traditional bookshelf, due to shapes and sizes.
We bought this book display for our 2 year old son and he just loves it! He can easily pull out which book he wants to read since he can easily see them. The quality of the wood is wonderful and is very study. We would suggest it to anyone.

My husband and I got this for our 16 month old for xmas. We needed it NOW and decided to put it together tonight. I am very happy with it! The bins are a really nice size, and it overall isn’t huge, and doesn’t look too obnoxious in our living room (that is now basically a playroom!) Very nice storage unit!!! I would purchase another in the future! Also love the primary colors! Can’t go wrong with boy/girl!
This is a great for toy storage – it is at my toddlers height, so he can easily access his toys as he wants them. Good price, good quality, and doesn’t take up too much space.
