This is a great toy. My daughter got it for her 2nd birthday, and enjoys playing with it…whenever she can get it away from her 6 year old sister! It it an item that can be enjoyed on many levels and by many ages. My one complaint is the storage box. I don’t understand why there is not a lid! It makes it difficult to store and stack with other food. I know it’s a small thing, but are’nt we all looking for items that make our life easier? A simple flat lid that fastens on this toy would keep everything in place without making it necessary to use a plastic bag or another box.
Bought this for my daughters birthday. She loves it, she is having a birthday party several times a day. It is a great toy for imaginary play. Boy or girl will enjoy pretending its a birthday.
My daughter loves this pretend birthday cake. I work at a YMCA and someone donated this toy to us and after seeing it was a hit I decide to buy one for my daughter. My only complaint would be: the one my daughter originally played with had a plastic clear piece that slid over the top of the box so when the kids were done with it the pieces wouldn’t fall out and this one does not have that. Great gift overall.
